Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths!!!

Hey there everyone!!! I have some VERY VERY exciting news!!! I purchased a domain name for my own website, and so I am hoping I will soon be able to get my site up and running lol!!! But until then... READ THIS!!!!! LOL!!!!
I am posting an update right now because... Well, God Bless Twitter and all those that tweet in this glorious world we have, but sometimes 140 characters just WON'T cut it!!!
From September 7-13, the LPGA will be in Rogers, Arkansas for the 2009 P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons at the wonderful Pinnacle Country Club!!! P&G is, of course, Procter & Gamble the fine company that makes such wonderful products like Pantene Pro-V (phenomenal hair care products!!!!!!), Crest, CoverGirl... As well as Bounce, Charmin, Cascade, Iams, and the PUR company (rocking company, water filters to allow tap water to be purified and super safe to drink! AWESOME!!!)... Anyway.....
On Wednesday, September 9, 2009, Natalie Gulbis (or @Natalie_Gulbis) will be the hostess for the 2009 Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths where approximately 100 LPGA players will be taking part the Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths where people that have at least 8 inches of untreated (meaning-UNCOLORED) hair get their hair cut so that wigs can be made for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. Our wonderful ladies shall be the snippers, and it will be amazing!!!
At the start of the 2008 season, I had decided to stop coloring my hair... I had been doing so since I was 11, have had my hair dyed every shade and hue this dimension knows (and I think maybe two that were from a parallel universe...) and was just sick and tired of coloring my hair. I wanted to be natural, to not have harsh bleaches, peroxide, dyes and the such destroying my hair and getting washed away to our oceans. (not that I think others should stop coloring their hair, this was a personal choice!!!) I learned of the Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths program from my agents at Octagon Sports Management (they ROCK) and I decided that I wanted to take part in that, somehow. 2008 was not the best year for me in the hair growing department, and when the time came for the 2008 P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons to have their first annual Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths, my hair was not long enough for me to be able to donate the 8 inches of hair that I wanted to. However, after (nearly)another year has passed, I have decided that I will be cutting my hair for the Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths on September 9, 2009!!! This is a dream of mine that has been nearly 2 years in the making, and I am so thrilled to be able to make this dream come true! It is very sad to know many people are afraid to undergo life saving chemotherapy because of potential hair loss, and if I were able to make a part of a wig for someone who takes that brave step, it would be so fulfilling! If all goes as planned, I might even be able to donate 16 inches of hair!!! SWEET!!! GROW, HAIR, GROW!!!!!
I am also willing to fly up to three people to the 2009 P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons, MON-SUN, or whatever days they can make it, with player guest passes and to have lunch with myself and a couple other players, as well as any and all events taking place that week. if, and ONLY IF, they are willing to donate 8 inches of their own, unproccessed, nontreated, NON COLORED hair for such a wonderful cause!!! Please leave your twitter @username and I will DM you if you are interested. Here is to hoping we can have enough wigs made so no one ever has to fear losing their har again!!!! LOVES YOU ALL, thank you for reading such a loooooooooong post!!!!

It's like high school all over again!!!

Goodness, it's been YEARS since I last posted an entry on LJ!!! lol, I feel like I am back in my junior year of high school all over again. I'm feeling a little bit better than yesterday, and my mother and I are venturing up to NJ this morning to meet up with my dad (flying in this afternoon) and have a lovely Mother's Day tomorrow.
Not being able to play the second round yesterday during the 2009 Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill was near devastating to me. I love the event so much, and withdrawing makes me feel like a failure. Like, why couldn't I have gotten sick, like... last week??? Oh well, fingers crossed InBev will renew the tournament and we will be back next year with a vengeance!!!
LOL, I can't help but think I'm going to start wearing white high top Reebok sneakers, Jordache jeans, and dye my hair every color of the rainbow again because of the incredible sense of nostalgia that writing a LiveJournal entry fills me with... I used to be such a nerd when I posted all of my old entries, I won't even get into it!!! I went through every phase in the book... Goth, Punk, Ghetto, Raver, Jock, Islander (for those that went to OGHS, you know what I mean...) Drama nerd, Emo, Stoner, Poser... I swear I went through more phases in school than sharks go through teeth in a lifetime... Now, I'm just happy being... ME!!!!
Anyway, the drive up to NJ through the lush greenery of the East Coast will be soothing for me. Just my mommy and me!!! And about 250lbs of luggage, golf clubs, and stuuuuuuff.... hahaha!!! I'm hoping to bring LJ back!!! It's time for retro to come back!!! (I mean stuff from THIS millenium, the 80's and 90's are juuuuuuuuust fine staying where they were!!! Except the music. They are invited back. But no fashion!!!! Your name is NOT on the VIP list)
Tah!!!!!
